Coleman’s walk-off blast vs. Florida sends Oklahoma to WCWS Champ Series

Sometimes the story writes itself. The energy in Devon Park had shifted inning by inning. But when Jayda Coleman stepped into the box in the eighth inning, it simply felt the Sooners would break through. Coleman lifted a ball to left that kept carrying into the bleachers for a walk-off solo home run to secure a spot in Women’s College World Series Championship Series after a 6-5 win over Florida.
