Gray Robertson Joins SA

Gray Robertson is entering in his eighth year broadcasting Alabama softball on the Crimson Tide Sports Network as an analyst and sixth season calling softball on SECNetwork+ as play-by-play announcer. Alongside his radio partner Tom Canterbury, Robertson has also hosted the Out of the Box podcast since 2019, discussing softball stories with some of the biggest media voices and coaching names in the sport.

In 2022, Robertson called The World Games on CBS Sports Network as the play-by-play broadcaster alongside analyst Kayla Braud, including Team USA’s victory in the Gold Medal Game against Japan.

During the offseason, Robertson manages all broadcasting duties for the various summer softball leagues under the American Collegiate League umbrella. With behind-the-scenes work for the SEC on CBS and the Southeastern Conference office, Robertson’s life has revolved around college sports for decades, and that passion has led to a love for college softball that has only grown over the years.
